Dr. Vivian Bucay is a board-certified dermatologist who has over 10 years of experience diagnosing skin conditions. She is an eloquent lecturer and has demonstrated her voluble skills as both a national and international speaker. After completing her premedical studies at The Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Bucay obtained her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine, and underwent dermatology training at the University of Miami and the Baylor College of Medicine. She practiced for eight years in Mexico City before relocating to San Antonio in 1999. 

As a seasoned medical dermatologist, Dr. Bucay is also committed to improving the aesthetics of her patients' skin with cosmetic dermatology treatments. She gives her patients peace of mind by combining her advanced medical training with her aesthetic expertise. Allergan designates Dr. Bucay with a national certificate in Botox training. She has also be certified by Medicis with a national certificate for Restylane training. 

In 2004, Dr. Bucay was named "Texas Super Doctor," with recognition as a top dermatologist by Texas Monthly Magazine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, International Society of Dermatology, Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Bucay is also an active member of the Texas Medical Association, Texas Dermatological Society, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Dermatological Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery.
